Your choreography, Spotify and public updates

The video player makes no YouTube connection until explicitly loaded. The × only closes ambient mode. “Disconnect YouTube” removes the player and API context. Ambient places no app controls over the video; YouTube’s native controls remain intact.

Local choreography

With “Remember automatically in this tab” enabled, using the motion controls or visual preview processes timestamps, original shape and colour parameters, and normalised pointer or touch coordinates as a choreography. This serves only the user-operated recording and replay function. No video, audio, microphone signal, account data or visitor profile is recorded or uploaded.

With tab saving enabled, your choreography remains in the current browser session. “New session” removes the previous draft. Turning off saving deletes the saved draft and prevents further saves; the open page may retain the draft in memory. JSON import and export are local. “Reset local preferences” also deletes saved colour scores and choreographies. Browsers may retain tab data when restoring a session.

The basis for user-requested local editing is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; storage strictly necessary for those functions relies on § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. The option is visibly switchable and is not required to read the website.

Spotify only after your choice

Only “Load Spotify” creates the official Spotify iframe. The provider is Spotify AB, Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden. It may process IP address, browser/device information, referring page, identifiers and player interactions; depending on your browser and Spotify account, cookies, storage and account association may also be involved. Our optional integration relies on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where necessary, § 25(1) TDDDG.

“Disconnect Spotify”, selecting different music, starting YouTube or leaving the page removes the Spotify iframe. This does not retroactively remove transmitted information or identifiers stored on other domains. No permanent media permission is saved. Spotify’s purposes, recipients, international transfers, retention and account controls are described in its Privacy Policy ↗. This site does not access Spotify audio.

Optional public video feed

“Fetch feed” requests a Netlify function on this website, if deployed. Ordinary technical connection data are processed by the host. The server requests only a fixed public YouTube feed and does not forward the visitor’s IP or an identifier to YouTube. Only titles, publication dates and video IDs for original links are returned, not thumbnails or social scripts. Metadata may be cached for up to 15 minutes. Unreachable sources are labelled unavailable.

The optional request serves the user-requested display of public sources under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. There is no automatic request on page load. Dated editorial cards are not a live feed. Social links open external websites only when followed.

The countdown uses the device clock only. Its release date is not a guaranteed worldwide streaming unlock time.

01Controller and scope

This notice covers BREAK / FIELD in the version described here. It is adapted from the studio’s published information, with separate provisions for the optional YouTube player, visuals and local preferences.

02Netlify: delivery and security

The site is configured for hosting by Netlify. The hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP address, access time, requested URL, browser/user-agent details, a referrer where supplied, and status information. The purpose is file delivery, reliable operation and protection against abuse. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: the legitimate interest in operating this website reliably and securely.

Netlify receives data necessary for the hosting service; the applicable roles and arrangements follow the hosting contract. This app creates no visitor database and exports no visit logs. Technical data are retained no longer than necessary for operation, security investigations, abuse prevention or legal duties. The duration of infrastructure logs also depends on the Netlify service and contract; this notice does not invent a fixed number of days.

03Studio logo and domain

The original logo identifies inspAIred studio. It is served by this website or loaded from inspairedstudio.com, a website of the same operator. That request generates ordinary technical connection data. The image request uses no referrer. The purpose is presentation and clear attribution of the project; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

According to the studio’s privacy notice, the main domain inspairedstudio.com uses Cloudflare for DNS. Access via a corresponding subdomain may therefore involve DNS queries to Cloudflare. A netlify.app address uses its applicable DNS infrastructure. This notice does not assume that an additional Cloudflare web proxy is enabled.

04YouTube only after consent

The landing page contains a local player permission panel. Only “Load YouTube video” loads the official player through youtube-nocookie.com and the YouTube IFrame API. “Enter ambient” alone does not connect to YouTube. For users in the EEA and Switzerland, Google identifies the provider as Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google entity applicable elsewhere depends on the user’s location.

Once enabled, Google and its service providers may process your IP address, device/browser information, the referring website and player interactions. Cookies, local storage and other identifiers may be used. When signed into Google, information may be associated with your account according to Google’s rules and settings. Privacy-enhanced mode is not a guarantee of anonymity or no data processing. Our optional integration relies on Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, for non-essential device storage or access, § 25(1) TDDDG.

05Withdraw permission and disconnect

Permission applies to the currently open page. “Disconnect YouTube” removes the player and its separate API context. The × in ambient mode returns to inline viewing instead: permission and any ongoing playback remain active. Leaving or reloading the page ends permission; a new consent click is required on the next page load. All original visual experiments also work without YouTube.

Withdrawal takes effect for the future and does not affect earlier lawful processing. We cannot recall information already sent to Google or delete cookies on another domain. Browser and Google privacy controls may be needed for that. Google’s retention depends on the service, data type and account settings.

06Processing outside the EEA

Netlify and, after activation, Google may process information outside the European Economic Area, including in the USA. The providers describe adequacy decisions where applicable and safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. The specific basis depends on the recipient, service and applicable contract. Permission to load YouTube is not presented as a replacement for required international-transfer safeguards. Information and, where applicable, copies of the relevant safeguards are available through the providers or on request from the operator.

07Language, motion and local preferences

Your chosen language and motion setting are stored in the browser tab’s session storage. They serve those selected functions, not a user identifier or browsing history. They normally end with the tab session; browser restoration may continue that session. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, for strictly necessary device storage, section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. The website remains usable if storage is blocked.

YouTube permission applies only to the current page visit. It is not stored in cookies or permanent browser storage.

Image atelier: shapes, text, colours and saved editions remain in this tab’s session storage. They are not sent to a server. If storage is blocked, the draft remains in memory. “Save project” writes a JSON file to your device; “Open project” reads it locally. Images and loops are also created in the browser. Resetting deletes the saved atelier state — export important projects first.

08Visuals without audio access

SVG, Canvas 2D and CSS create backgrounds locally. They use pointer position, window size, motion preferences, local laboratory parameters and — after consent — playback time and player state. Pointer movements are not sent to a server; audio and video frames are not read. No microphone, camera or location is requested. There are no app analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social scripts, user accounts or automated decisions with legal effects.

09External links and email

Studio, source, album and YouTube references are ordinary links. The destination provider’s rules apply after you follow them. The current status of store and affiliate links is explained in the “Store links” section. If you send email, your sender details, message and voluntary information are processed to answer it. The basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for contractual or pre-contractual inquiries, otherwise Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate correspondence. Messages are deleted when no longer needed, subject to retention duties or necessary legal defence.

10Your rights and complaints

Subject to the legal conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Articles 15–21 GDPR). You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation. Consent can be withdrawn for the future at any time. You need not activate optional media or send email to read the editorial pages.

Sharing artwork

PNG, SVG, GIF and video loops are created locally in your browser. Share cards carry the BREAK / FIELD mark and source attribution; regular PNG and SVG exports remain unwatermarked. The website does not upload your artwork to its own server.

Direct sharing passes the finished file to the device’s share function after your click. A caption is included only when you choose to add it. “Copy image” writes the PNG to your clipboard; “Copy caption” writes the selected text. These functions do not read your clipboard. Alternatively, you can attach the file to a post yourself. “Share website” shares only the website address, without image data, project state or tracking parameters. The receiving app’s policies apply. External platforms open only when clicked; no social pixels or SDKs are embedded.
