01Less motion
The surrounding visuals respect the operating system’s reduced-motion preference. “Calm motion” also enables it manually. Original geometry then remains still, large word gestures disappear, and colour states update more slowly. In the image atelier, “Reaction on” holds the current moment and turns off hover reactions. Space does the same when the artboard is focused. There are no intentional rapid full-screen strobe effects. This does not alter the original video, which may contain intense movement or light changes.
02Keyboard and navigation
Links and controls are reachable with Tab and have visible focus indicators. A skip link leads to the main content. Tabs support arrow keys and Home/End; the time slider is keyboard-operable. “Send an impulse” offers an alternative to pointer interaction. Escape closes the director’s desk first, then ambient mode, unless focus is inside the third-party player. The visible × remains available. YouTube is a separate keyboard and focus context.
03Language, reading and zoom
The home and legal pages are fully available in German and English. The entry page lets you choose Deutsch or English. DE / EN switches between language versions. Legal text is delivered as real HTML, readable without JavaScript and with a print layout. Contents links go directly to the relevant sections. The layout adapts to narrow windows and enlarged display sizes.
04Technical limits and feedback
The ambient visuals use Canvas 2D; the image atelier uses SVG. The website does not require WebGL. Without JavaScript, the player and interactive experiments are unavailable, while initial editorial HTML content and all legal pages remain readable. Captions, audio description and video accessibility depend on the source and YouTube; their availability is not claimed here. The website has not been exhaustively tested with all assistive technologies.

Image atelier and a clear stage
Essential image-atelier control labels are at least 14 CSS pixels. “Format & tools” includes a selector for hidden objects. With the artboard focused: arrows move, R rotates, +/− scales, C changes colour and Page Up/Down changes layer order. Ctrl/⌘+Z undoes changes. The motion desk remains below the video. Ambient retains only the close control and native player controls. Reduced motion suppresses moving accents. Spotify is an external player whose accessibility is controlled by the provider. This app does not claim full WCAG conformance.
